Who am I?

How do I work?

My role as an accredited S&C coach is to assess where you are now with a range of mobility/flexibility, strength/power and endurance tests. From this I can design an exercise programme to develop the areas you need to work on to progress towards your goals. You will play an active part in this process, and will be required to put in consistent, hard work to facilitate the changes necessary for improvement.
I have worked with a variety of clientele since 2010, including elite and recreational golfers and tennis players, marathon runners, martial artists and people recovering from strokes and traumatic brain injuries. I also enjoy helping clients during late stage rehabilitation and have worked alongside physiotherapists and other medical professionals on a regular basis to transition clients from rehab to more performance based goals.

What is strength and conditioning?
What is strength and conditioning?

According to the English Institute of Sport:
“A strength and conditioning coach plans, delivers and reviews the physical preparation of the athlete, aligned to specific performance outcomes.
Strength and Conditioning is about more than lifting weights – it encompasses the entire physical development of the athlete and what is required to allow them to be the best physical version of themselves.”
Is strength and conditioning just for high-performing athletes?

Absolutely not!
Strength and conditioning methods can be applied to any level, even someone who has never exercised before or who has not exercised in a long time due to work commitments, injury or illness. Strength and conditioning training starts with a variety of assessments to decipher the best course of action for the individual to become stronger, more flexible and to improve on their journey to a healthier and fitter way of life.
